Internet Explorer 7 and Media Player 11
Today I've decided to download and test IE7 and Media Player 11. This web browser and player you can download from official Microsoft website in beta versions. After first run I sow many changes in web browser design. Microsoft programmers correct manner of show CSS styles by browser, but in low degree. I immediately notice to appear li:hover attribute. I sow also leveling of fonts. Now they are not shred and squarely, how this looks in another Windows web browsers. They improve possibility to see pages on tabs. In right-up corner we can see web-search field which we know from Firefox or Opera. Default it is MSN, but we can change it easy to another (ex. Google). Microsoft improve new design to Media Player too. Design looks like this from coming soon Window Vista. I can't say anything more about functionality, because I'm not using this software usually. This version have (like 10) multimedia library; possibility to rip audio tracks to hard drive; audio, video and DVD player; image browser; cd-audio burning and on-line buying. Who knows, if Microsoft will be growing up in this way, maybe I will start to use they software. I give you 2 screen shoots. Calumma Player, is a multimedia player basing on Xine engine and writing in Java. Actually is not available yet, but soon everyone can try it (I hope so) and if one likes it, one can use it.
GoRapidDownloader is a small program written in Java and is used for downloading files from popular website - RapidShare
jMPD is simple MPD (Music Player Daemon) client written in Java.
