Calumma Player

Calumma Player is a media player written in Java and based on the Xine engine.

Current version: 0.6

Requirements:

• Linux
• Java 1.6
• Xine
• XULRunner (optional for YouTube)

Download:

• Binary: Calumma-0.6.tar.bz2 (10 MB)
• Source: calumma-0.6-src.tar.bz2 (9 MB)

Launch:

• Extract

tar xvf Calumma.tar.bz2

• Run:

. / Calumma / Calumma

The first time you run the configuration files are created in ~/.config/Calumma/. Shortly after starting I recommend give the location of stored multimedia files (Tools-> Options-> Library), and then update the library (Library-> Update).
In case of problems with the YouTube player before running, set the XULRunner variable, for example:

export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=/opt/xulrunner/

Notes:

It is the early version of the player - may contain errors or didn't even start. Tested on Linux systems: Gentoo, Ubuntu and Fedora - I had no problems there. Informations about API for plugins and skins I'll publish later.
